About us
Energy specialists you can trust, from a team that started on the tools
We started in 2015 as a small team of electricians with a simple goal: make safe, reliable, energy-efficient homes and workplaces easy for Aucklanders. Years of call-outs to fix failed solar systems shaped how we work today. We have grown into a full-service energy provider, but the focus has not changed: look after the customer at every step, not just for a one-off job.

Our story
"We got into solar because we kept getting called to fix it."
Before Vital Energy installed a single panel, we were the electricians called out when other people's systems failed. Undersized cabling, cheap inverters that died in year three, racking that was never rated for a coastal wind zone. We saw what it cost homeowners.
So when we started installing, the rules were simple. Only fit gear we would put on our own roofs: Enphase, SunPower, Schletter, EVNEX. Design every system from the customer's real usage. Use our own registered electricians, never subcontracted crews. And stand behind the work for ten years.
Today Vital Energy is a full-service electrical and energy company, still based in Henderson, still 100% Kiwi owned, and still picking up the phone after the install.
